The new federal Summer EBT program (also known as SUN Bucks) provides families with $120.00 per eligible child for groceries. 2024 is the first year this program exists!
Please note:
The application period is closed for summer 2024 BUT Montana is sending cards out late, so Summer EBT 2024 will be mailed out in fall 2024.
One new EBT card (like a debit card) will be issued per household. Ex. if a household has 4 eligible children, then $480.00 will be loaded on one new S-EBT debit card and sent to the household.
